VitaSol
The VitaSol is a thermal bath and sauna area in the North Rhine-Westphalian city of Bad Salzuflen in Germany . On an area of over 6,000 square meters, including 1,700 square meters of water, there is a thermal bath , a sauna area , a wellness area , a fitness and prevention area as well as dining facilities.

The VitaSol is located on Exterschen Strasse in the immediate vicinity of the Bad Salzuflen spa gardens .
history
The Gustav-Horstmann-Sprudel , which feeds the thermal brine pools of the VitaSol Therme, is the deepest, most salty and warmest spring in Bad Salzuflen. The first drilling began as early as 1919, but had to be stopped at a depth of 375 meters. It was not until 1967 that the spring was "worked up" with special drills from the USA to a depth of 1018 meters. The thermal brine has been bubbling out of the ground at a rate of 90,000 liters per hour and a temperature of 37.5 ° C since 1969. The overall very high mineral content and especially the original 12% salt content have a positive effect on the entire organism in combination with the soothing warmth.
The facility itself was built in 1969. After extensive renovation in 2000, Kannewischer Management AG took over the operation of the thermal baths from the city of Bad Salzuflen in 2008 . The wellness lounge was opened in 2010.

Thermal bath
The thermal baths inside u. a. via an intensive brine pool (35 ° C, 12.5% brine), a hot pool (38 ° C, 2.5% brine), a cold pool (22 ° C) and a rain cloud with 33 shower heads. Outside there are u. a. an attraction pool (32 ° C, 2.5% brine) and a sports pool (28 ° C, 2.5% brine).
Sauna area
The indoor sauna area has several saunas with numerous special features (color change, aroma kettle, salt crystal wall). Outside there is a lake sauna (80 ° C) with access to the natural swimming pond , a forest sauna (90 ° C) and a fire sauna (95 ° C).
Infusions take place every hour in the lake sauna and the forest sauna.
The entire sauna area is textile-free.
