Vladimír Hirsch (born July 3, 1954 in Benešov , Czech Republic ) is a Czech musician - composer and instrumentalist (keyboard instruments). He is the author of the concept of the so-called "integrated" form of music, which combines modern classical music with dark ambient and industrial music . His compositional style is characterized by the polymodal architecture and experimental work with sound, especially in the scope of digital technology, in order to be able to expand the action potential of the means of expression. He is or was a leading figure in the Czech avant-garde projects Aghiatrias, Skrol , Subpop Squeeze, Zygote etc. Between 1986 and 1995 he was a member of the experimental post-punk group The Marabu.

Creativity

The musical spectrum of Vladimír Hirsch contains both experimental projects and compositions of a strict compositional order, but in nature almost always conceptual. His most important works include "Symphony No. 4" with the subtitle "Descent from the Cross" and the revised live version called "Graue Passion", conceptual dark-ambient industrial albums "Underlying Scapes" or "Missa Armata", "Invocationes" and the great ingressive composition “Contemplatio per nexus”. All of these recordings represent largely elaborated, authentic expression of the ubiquitous internal value conflict of the individual and also an illustration of his confrontation with the anthropocentric model of today's society. This theme permeates most of the composer's works. For fans of the industrial and post-industrial scene, his name is synonymous with very intense music, full of lively and turbulent atmosphere.
