Volcacius Sedigitus

Volcacius Sedigitus ("the six-fingered") was a Roman author. He lived around 100 BC BC or later and wrote a Liber de poetis ("Book on the Poets") in iambic senars . Only four fragments about Roman comedy poets ( palliata ) have survived , three of them about Terence . The fourth fragment deals with the hierarchy of ten comedy poets in 13 verses.
