The Volksbank Büren and Salzkotten eG was a cooperative bank in East Westphalia . It emerged from a total of 19 formerly independent banks in the city triangle of Bad Wünnenberg , Büren and Salzkotten . On January 1, 2012 , it merged with Volksbank Brilon eG to form Volksbank Brilon-Büren-Salzkotten eG .

The bank last had 192 employees and 20 branches. The balance sheet total in 2011 was around 881 million euros.
