People's Artist of Vietnam
People's Artist of Vietnam ( Vietnamese Nghệ sĩ nhân dân , NSND) is an honorary title awarded by the Vietnamese state to individuals for special merits in one of the areas of the performing arts . The law on socialist competition and state awards forms the basis for the award of the title . In the performing arts, “People's Artist of Vietnam” is considered the highest national award. It is to be seen analogously to the title of People's Artist of the Russian Federation awarded in Russia .
