Full form is:

  • generally the complete versus an abbreviated form of a designation or expression
  • the written form of an abbreviation , especially an acronym
  • in lexicography the form of a word to be mapped onto the lemma, for example the inflected form, see lemma (lexicography)
  • In geomorphology, the term for convexly curved forms of the terrain surface, such as hills, mountains and mountain ranges, with outward-directed discharge, see full form (geomorphology)
  • in crystallography, the most highly symmetrical point group (crystal class) of a crystal system
  • a type of casting mold in casting technology, see full mold casting
