Vytas Jareckas
Vytas Jareckas (born May 16, 1963 in Laipuškiai , Pakruojis Rajongemeinde ) is a Lithuanian politician and mayor of Biržai .
Life
After graduating from high school, he completed his engineering degree at the Lietuvos žemės ūkio akademija in Kaunas in 1992 and at the Šiaulių universitetas in 2010 . From 2007 he worked as a teacher and then as the deputy director of the Biržai Regional Museum . From 2007 to 2015 he was a member of the municipality council. He has been the mayor of the Biržai district since 2019 . He was already selected in the 1st ballot in the 2019 local elections in Lithuania . He was also the list leader of VYTO JARECKO koalicija "VIENINGI BIRŽAI" ( Lietuvos valstiečių ir žaliųjų sąjunga , Lietuvos Respublikos liberalų sąjūdis ).
He was a member of LSDP and from 2009 a member of Tėvynės sąjunga - Lietuvos krikščionys demokratai .
