w-inds. is a popular Japanese music group that is classified as J-Pop . The band was founded in 2000 and consists of Keita Tachibana (vocals) as well as Ryohei Chiba and Ryuichi Ogata (rap, background vocals, dance). The first hit from w-inds. was Forever Memories , which made it to # 12 on the Japanese weekly charts; several top placements followed, including a. reached number 1 in the charts with the singles Another Days (2002), Because of you (2002) and Long Road (2003).

According to SMAP, w-inds. Another band that took part in the Shanghai EXPO 2010 as a representative of Japan and performed as part of the JAPAN DAY. On May 5th there were w-inds. an event exclusively for their fan club members in the Tokyo International Forum, where KENZO also performed, a member of DA BUMP, which was the first band in Japan to win the Euro Dance Battle 2010 shortly before.
