WL man
WL Mann (pseudonym for Wolfgang Ludwig Hausmann) (* before 1959) is a German science fiction author.
There are three novels by WL Mann, each with very idiosyncratic themes, although the themes themselves are quite common to the genre. The Giant (1971), for example, is a story about a man who gradually turns into a gigantic, moronic monster. The book is impressive because of its through and through tragic mood, which climbs to a cruel and sad climax, and because of the enigmatic fatalistic void that its end leaves in the reader.
