w3m is a free (under the MIT license ) text-based web browser that is similar to Lynx or Links , but is more convenient because it displays tables , frames and, using a plug-in, images. w3m also supports the use of bookmarks and tabbed browsing , but not JavaScript . Mouse support is also possible in some cases.

With the Emacs-w3m there is a front-end for the Emacs , which with Shimbun contains a newsreader-like library among other things.
