The WE.177 was a British nuclear aerial bomb. It was kept operational from 1966 to 1998. It was the last nuclear aerial bomb in Great Britain. There were three variants, the WE.177A with an explosive force of around 10 kilotons, the WE.177B with an explosive force of up to 200 kilotons and the WE.177C with an explosive force of up to 400 kilotons. The last WE.177 were retired in March 1998 and scrapped in August of the same year.
