The Waasa Red Ducks were a Finnish ice hockey club from Vaasa founded in 2009 . The team played in the Suomi-sarja and played their home games in the Vaasa Areena .
history
The Waasa Red Ducks came into being in 2009 when the professional KoMu HT team was outsourced to its own company. This then also took over the starting place in the third-class Suomi-sarja , in which the Waasa Red Ducks played from the 2009/10 season.
In 2015, the license to participate in the Suomi-sarja was not renewed and the game was stopped.
