Wagner auxiliary branch

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Wagner'sche auxiliary path is a device for reducing influences of the parasitic capacitances in the electrical measuring bridges, z. B. the Schering Bridge .

A special voltage divider is applied to the bridge points of the measuring circuit in such a way that the voltages at the connections of the zero indicator with respect to earth are as low as possible. Analogous to English, the circuit is also referred to as "Wagner Earth".

The circuit is named after Karl Willy Wagner .
