The Waldschlösschen Röderau was a castle built in the 17th century, which was destroyed by fire in 2019.

The Waldschlösschen Röderau, built in the 17th century, was built in the Baroque era and served as an officers' mess during the Nazi era . Until 1956, the Waldschlösschen was owned by the Jentsch family and served as a dog school. The Waldschlösschen served as the founding place of the Röderau dog sports club . In the mid-1970s, a state youth club was established there. From 1978 to 1981 there was a hippie shop there. After that, the property was no longer used. In 2017 the castle was partially demolished. In a fire in 2019, the Waldschlösschen was so badly damaged that it was decided to demolish it completely.
