The Waldvogel-Scottish is a famous Swiss piece of music in 4/4 time. It was composed around 1972 by the then 17-year-old Carlo Brunner , who had founded his own Ländlerkapelle two years earlier. The melody is played with a soprano saxophone and in wind music with clarinets . Today the Waldvogel-Scottish is one of the most played compositions on the Swiss rural scene.
