Valais rosé

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Walliser Rosé is a Swiss AOC -certified rosé wine made from red grape varieties that meet the Valais AOC requirements. Up to 10 percent of the Walliser Rosé can be blended with Walliser AOC white wines.

If red and white Valais grapes are pressed that come from the same vineyard and that were mixed by the winemaker before fermentation, it is also referred to as a Schiller wine from the canton of Valais.
