exhibition
The museum shows the life and work of Disney in chronological order from his childhood to his death. Many of the exhibits come from the family's private archives. Original documents and recordings show Disney's life before his career as a film producer. His filmmaking work is shown with the help of drawings, photographs, videos, interactive demonstrations as well as original props and technical utensils. A model of an amusement park planned by Disney but never realized is also on display, as well as a park train with which he chauffeured guests through his private property, as well as the Multiplan camera, with which the three-dimensional effects in Disney's first full-length feature film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in 1937 were realized.
In the lobby of the museum numerous prizes, certificates and awards for Disney and his works are exhibited, including the “Special Oscar” (one large and seven small awards), which was awarded to the film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs .
