Walter Schumacher (born July 20, 1926 ) is a former German soccer player .
Career
Walter Schumacher first played football in Stuttgart for SV Heslach and then for Sportfreunde Stuttgart . 1948 followed a change to the Stuttgarter Kickers , for which he played a total of 112 games in the Oberliga Süd and in the II. Division and scored 42 goals. In 1956 he left the Kickers and emigrated to the United States . There he played for the New York Allstars and the Elizabeth SC and later returned to Germany.
