Roller mill (Koenigsberg)
The roller mill in Königsberg was the largest rye mill ever built.
Built in Rathshof (Holsteiner Damm 104–115) in 1890 , it processed 43,000 tons of mostly Russian rye annually . The ground grain was exported as flour , the bran used in agriculture. The Königsberger Mühlenwerke sold them to the brothers Gustav and Erich Karow in 1927 .
