description
Heraldically on the right it shows half an Upper Silesian eagle on a blue background. Heraldically to the left are mallets and irons on a red background as symbols for mining . There is a gear wheel under the miner symbol. They indicate the industrial character of the city.
The earlier coat of arms of Schwientochlowitz showed Saint Anthony of Padua on a blue background. St. Anthony carries the baby Jesus on his left arm, the Bible in both hands and a lily on his right arm. The baby Jesus and the lily are attributes of the sacred.
