The coat of arms on the Silesian Parliament

The coat of arms of the city of Lubliniec (German Lublinitz) consists of two fields created by splitting. It goes back to old seals of the city.

description

The city's coat of arms is split. In the front field there is half a golden eagle on a blue background. In the back field there are five silver hexagonal stars on a red background.

The half-eagle stands for the eagle of the Upper Silesian Piasts.

The coat of arms was used in this form until the 20th century. Then the red field was replaced by a blue field, and the stars became gold. In 2016 they returned to the old form with a red field.

The coat of arms as jewelry

The coat of arms can be found on the facade of the Silesian Parliament in Katowice.
