The coat of arms of the town Piekary Śląskie (German: Deutsch Piekar) was adopted in its current form on June 30, 2005 and goes back to older coats of arms.

description

The current coat of arms shows two bakers in their traditional black work clothes with gold details on a blue background, corresponding to the place name (Piekar von Bäcker). Between them is the Basilica of Piekary Śląskie, which the two of them point to with their hands.

Before the change in 2005, the coat of arms only showed the two bakers shaking hands. In the 18th century the coat of arms or seal of the community Deutsch Piekar still showed the holy Mary with the Christ child.
