Warsaw Institute for Strategic Initiatives ( Polish Warszawski Instytut Inicjatyw Strategicznych ) is a Polish think tank founded in 2016 , active in the field of well-defined defense policy and international security. The institute's mission is to provide support in shaping security policy and strategic planning in the Republic of Poland. The organization carries out its tasks by preparing analyzes, expertises, reports, organizing debates and workshops, as well as educational activities. The institute's headquarters are in Warsaw .

Statutory goals

  • Support for measures to strengthen Polish independence;
  • Acting for the development of strategic thinking in the Republic of Poland;
  • To create historical, cultural and legal awareness among citizens;
  • Dissemination of knowledge and skills, train and support existing and future government administrative staff, administrative staff of the municipal council, business units, NGOs or Polish citizens in relation to questions related to the defense of the Republic of Poland.

To carry out its tasks, the Warsaw Institute for Strategic Initiatives work with public authorities, the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland, business units and other NGOs.
