Waiting time (production)

According to REFA , the waiting time consists of the sum of the target times of all process sections with the process type process -related interruption in humans. It refers to the unit of measure 1.

So waiting times are planned. They do not arise accidentally or due to disruptions. In the event of malfunctions, the type of process would be interruption- related . Waiting times result from the interaction between people and the equipment. As a rule, people have to wait for the end of a process for an item of equipment.
