Water polo goal

A water polo goal consists of a crossbar and two posts.

With water polo , the bar of the goal stands 0.90 m above the water surface and is 3 m wide. The goal is at least 30 cm in front of the goal line exactly in the middle of the short side. The lath and the posts must be 7.5 cm wide, they must be connected at right angles, the posts must be exactly vertical, the lath must be exactly horizontal. The goal must be different in color from the ball. The nets must hang slack, enclose the entire goal area and must not have any holes through which the ball can pass.

If the pool is less than 1.50 m deep, the crossbar must be 2.40 m above the pool floor. The posts must then be correspondingly long.
