The Markgröningen water tower was built in 1990 on the northern outskirts of Markgröningen . The 45 meter high water tower is on the right of the road to Unterriexingen in the Gewann Bracke at 310 meters above sea level. It is used by the Markgröningen municipal waterworks to supply the city center with drinking water. Its high cantilever tank has a storage volume of 1000 cubic meters . There are cell phone antennas at the top of the tower.

The reinforced concrete structure, visible from afar, is a listed building . Next to the tower is the former water house .

A barbecue area was set up below the water tower in 2013.
