The Wat Kampong Tralach Loeu ( Khmer វត្ត កំពង់ត្រឡាច លើ , High Temple of Kampong Tralach '), officially pothi Rokha Ram (ឃុំ កំពង់ត្រឡាច), is a Buddhist temple in the province of Kampong Chhnang in Cambodia . It is located about 1.7 kilometers northwest of a tributary of the Tonle Sap River and about 35 kilometers north of the Cambodian capital Phnom Penh .

Wat Kampong Tralach Loeu was founded in 1672, a time when Udong, 14 kilometers south, was thecapital of Cambodia. The temple belongs to the sect of Mohanikaya (Large denomination '), which, unlike the Thammayut Nikaya larger of the two orders of the Theravada - monastic community . The center of the temple area is the Vihara , in which culturally significant wall and ceiling paintings from the founding time have been preserved. The roof, tiles and stair balustrades were renewed in 1925, and in 2010 the entire building was restored.

In addition to the Vihara, the temple grounds include an old and a new assembly and dining room, a Pali school, a library, a crematorium and several stupas . During the dictatorship of the Khmer Rouge from 1975 to 1978, the temple was used as a liquor distillery, salt warehouse and prison.
