The Weald and Downland Living Museum is a museum of historic buildings in Singleton, north of Chichester , Sussex . The museum includes 50 buildings that were constructed from the 15th century. It is the main museum of historic buildings in England - a collection of over 40 historic buildings dating from the 15th and later centuries sits on 50 acres of land - many with gardens and farm animals.

To preserve them, the buildings were carefully dismantled at the historical construction sites, restored and rebuilt true to the original in the museum.

Many of the houses are faithfully furnished, just as the buildings were inhabited by their owners centuries ago. In the historical gardens you will find spices , vegetables and flowers just as they were sown for the daily life of the household at that time.
