Web Life

Web Life (German: living network ) is a theoretical concept that regards the Internet ( Web ) as an independent form of life. It was first described and elaborated in Philip Tetlow's book "The Web's Awake". The underlying theories of emergent phenomenon of a living network are network theory , systems theory , complexity theory , swarm intelligence etc.
