The weaver's house is near the southern entrance to the town. The building is a half-timbered house with a surrounding structure . The visible framework with St. Andrew's crosses is located on the front side of the house . The building as it is today was built in several phases. These can still be recognized despite damage from the world wars. The oldest part of the house can be classified into the late 18th century. One renovation of the house can be dated to the first half of the 19th century and another to the second half of the 19th century. The second renovation was probably related to the installation of larger and heavier looms on the ground floor.

Despite long years of vacancy and decay, the building was saved from final demolition and rebuilt by a new owner. Today the weaver's house in Krimmitzschen serves as a residential building.
