The Wedge Tomb of Corrasluastia is located in the townland of Corrasluastia ( Irish Corr Sluaiste , "shovel-round hill") on a southern slope near the border with County Mayo , west of Castlerea, in the south of County Roscommon in Ireland . Wedge Tombs ( German  "wedge tombs" ), formerly also wedge-shaped gallery graves called, are double-walled, seamless, mostly unarticulated megaliths of the late Neolithic and early Bronze Age .

The northeast-southwest oriented Wedge Tomb is located on a hill about 10.0 m in diameter and 1.0 m high. It consists of an approximately 7.0 m long gallery, which is divided into three chambers. The only remaining capstone is about 2.3 m long, 1.0 m wide and 0.25 m thick. He slipped onto the fallen side stones in the southeast. There are five side stones on the northwest side and three on the southeast side. The outer walls are best preserved in the northwest, but also in the east. On the southwestern front there are two erect orthostats , which are perhaps remnants of the facade. A fallen menhir ( English standing stone ) lies 100 m to the east.
