Soft porcelain is at low ( "soft") temperature - up to 1350 ° C - fired porcelain .

Soft-paste porcelain consists of 25–40% kaolin, 45% quartz and 30% feldspar and, in contrast to hard-paste porcelain, is more sensitive to temperature fluctuations and significantly more sensitive to shock.
