Sintered goods

Sintered goods (also sintered goods ) is the name for a class of ceramic masses in which the fragments of the products or objects produced sinter during the firing process and thus become watertight.

Raw materials
Clay or kaolin , quartz , feldspar , lime and in some cases other additives.

Waterproof sintered body, hard, firm, possibly translucent.
Classification
This class of ceramic bodies is subdivided as follows:
  • Group: Coarse stoneware, not white-firing
  • Group: porcelain stoneware , white or light-burning
