The causes can be:

plant physiological biotic abiotic

After the first symptoms of the damage become visible:

  • Symptoms of damage beginning on the stalk of the grapes: The first symptoms are dark, sharply demarcated necrotic areas on the stalk (mostly in the branch branches). These symptoms can be seen on the stems from flowering through to the onset of maturity. These are stalks .
  • Symptoms of damage starting with the berries: Berries lag behind in development in the ripening phase and sag, wither, taste bland and sour, dry up. As a result, the pedicle also begins to necrotize. This is grape wilt (berry wilt, Zweigelt disease).
