The Welsh Black or Welsh Black Cattle is a breed of cattle from Wales in Great Britain . As the name suggests, the cattle are black. As a rule, they have horns, but there are also individual hornless lines. There are also individual red specimens of the breed.

This breed of cattle is a breed of beef cattle that is kept outdoors all year round. Their particularly finely marbled meat with a high percentage of its own flavor is mainly used in upscale restaurants. At birth, an average weight of 35 kg, fully grown cows reach a weight of 650 to 800 kg, bulls 900 to 1250 kg.
