The Wengernalp is an alp that is 1,874 m above sea level. M. lies between Wengen and the Kleine Scheidegg . It can be reached on foot or by Wengernalpbahn from Wengen or the Kleine Scheidegg and on skis from the Kleine Scheidegg.
The Hôtel de la Jungfrau opened in 1841 and was rebuilt after a fire in 1865.
Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy , Richard Wagner , Peter Tschaikowski and many others spent their holidays on the Wengernalp.
