Wentala slide

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Wentala slide is a Scottish from the canton of Graubünden .

The melody, which can also be found in the Swiss folk music collection of Hanny Christen , was arranged by the country musician Peter Zinsli , performed publicly and thus made known throughout Switzerland. It cannot be ruled out that it is originally a work by Paul Kollegger , who never wrote down his compositions. The Wentala slide is probably one of the most played titles in Swiss folk music.

Wentala corresponds to the Graubünden German plural form for bugs .
