campus

The campus viewed from above

The architecture of the buildings consists of a mixture of traditional Chinese and modern elements. The two oldest buildings, the Zhengqi Building and the Lourdes Building , have three floors and are designed in the traditional Chinese style. There is a small sports field in the center of the campus.

The constant redesign and expansion of the university made the construction of a number of new, higher buildings necessary. The tallest building is the Zhishan Building with 16 floors . Other facilities include the library, a sports hall, the Huayu auditorium , conference rooms, a cafeteria and dormitories for students, teachers and guests. The Yongsu Chapel , in which masses are held regularly, and the St.Angela Convent , in which Sisters of the Ursuline Order still live, bear witness to the history of Wenzao as a Catholic educational institution . Every year for Christmas, the entire campus presents itself with fairy lights and an oversized decorated Christmas tree, next to which a colorful nativity scene is traditionally set up.
