Werkendam (ship, 2018)

The Werkendam is a crane ship from the Dutch hydraulic engineering company “Van Oord” in Rotterdam . The ship was commissioned in March 2017 and launched on February 1, 2018. It is the first ship of its kind with full LNG propulsion. The shipyard was the Neptune shipyard in Hardinxveld-Giessendam

Lifting capacity: 20 t at 20 m and 25 t at 16 m extension

The 37 m³ LNG tank is installed aft behind the superstructure. One filling is enough for two weeks of operation.
