Werner Becher

Werner Becher (born August 12, 1972 in Mistelbach an der Zaya ) is an Austrian software entrepreneur and politician of the Liberal Forum (LIF) . He ran for his party in Lower Austria as runner-up on the list in the 2008 National Council election , but it did not make it into parliament. In October 2008 he was elected party leader. This was followed by an extensive reform of the party, both in terms of the statutes and the program.

At the LIF party congress on June 20, 2009, after the party reform was completed, he was finally replaced as federal spokesman by Angelika Mlinar .
