Werner Roth (music producer)
Werner Roth (* 1957 ) is a German music producer .
Life
Roth worked as a drummer in various jazz and pop groups for many years . In 1976 he won a prize at the Baden-Württemberg State Jazz Competition. By 1986 he completed a degree in sound engineering (major in drums) at the Detmold University of Music .
Since then he has worked freelance for various radio and TV stations, record companies such as DG or UNITEL , and in his own recording studio as a producer, sound engineer and composer.
He has been responsible for productions for many years. In the area of classic z. In 1997, the Robert Schumann University of Düsseldorf appointed him professor for music production with a focus on popular music in the audio and video technology course. He is a co-founder of the Institute for Music and Media .
