Carl Werthenbach founded his company in Bielefeld in May 1932. He started trading automotive parts. In the following years the company was expanded to include the industrial technology division. In 1957 the company moved to a new building and the first sales rooms were added. The hydraulics division for plant construction became independent. Since then, trade products and special units manufactured in-house have been supplied. In the following decades until today, the company invested in various branches in northern and central Germany and built a total of 13 locations.
