West One Music Group is a music publisher for production music headquartered in London .

Company history

West One Music was founded in London in 2002 by Tony Prior and Richard Harvey . The company produces and publishes music for the dubbing of content on television, radio and the Internet as well as the dubbing of films, advertising, image films and video games.

West One Music Group operates in 62 territories worldwide and is represented there by its own offices or agents.

The catalog includes 6 labels with a total of around 600 published albums of production music (as of June 2015). Around 80 albums are added to this catalog each year, which are produced both in the in-house studios in London and externally. Today West One Music Group is one of the world's leading independent production music libraries.

Since 2010, the West One Music Group in Germany has been operating under Firstworks Music GmbH, which is a 100 percent subsidiary of West One Music Group Ltd. represents. Firstworks Music GmbH is a member of GEMA and the use of the music catalog is therefore subject to tax. Firstworks Music GmbH looks after the territories of Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Netherlands from Munich.
