West Pomeranian

West Pomeranian - also West Pomeranian is a dialect of the East Low German language and thus Low German . It is spoken today in Western Pomerania . To the west there is a flowing transition to Mecklenburg , which, like Western Pomerania, belongs to Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania . Towards the south it mixes with the Mark Brandenburg . Western Pomeranian shows some West Slavic influences. A hard, concise pronunciation is typical.
