The Wetzsteinberg near Doberenz (municipality of Königsfeld (Saxony) , district of central Saxony ) is a Slavic hill fort with a ring wall .
Description of the plant
The Wetzsteinberg is located directly on the B 107 , 900 m northeast of Doberenz. The facility is located on a wooded, natural mountain spur that rises gently from the main road to the northwest, forms a plateau and drops off steeply towards the Erlsbach. The ring wall, which is about two-thirds closed, encloses an oval area of about 100 x 50 m and is not particularly high. On the northern part of the ring wall, the terrain is conspicuously formed by pits and hills.
