production

Whiskas are produced in Verden , Lower Saxony , Breitenbrunn am Neusiedler See in Burgenland and Melton Mowbray in Great Britain . The company's own research center is located in the neighboring town of Waltham-on-the-Wolds .

Products

The product range includes wet food, dry food , lactose-reduced cat milk and snacks. The food is offered for three different age groups, for kittens (junior), adult cats (adult) and old cats (senior).

Some products are also advertised as having health-promoting properties, so Whiskas offers snacks that are supposed to care for the gums and make it easier for hairballs to pass out, and are fortified with vitamins . The packaging is traditionally purple.
