Więź (German band, binding ) is a Catholic monthly magazine in Poland that publishes on social and cultural topics. It was founded in 1958 and is published in Warsaw . After martial law was imposed in December 1981, the magazine was banned until March 1982.

According to Więź, he wants to promote reconciliation and help overcome prejudices and stereotypes: for example between Poles and Germans or between Christians and Jews. Więź made a great contribution to the Polish-German dialogue, especially in the 1970s. It acquired a similar significance for the Polish-Jewish dialogue.

The principles of the magazine also include the affirmation and support of the civil society that has developed in Poland, without feeling part of a specific political milieu.

Each Więź number deals with a specific main topic, which is supplemented by numerous and different contributions.
