Viktor Borisovich Korezki
Viktor Borisovich Koretsky ( Russian Виктор Борисович Корецкий ; born May 5 . Jul / 18th May 1909 greg. In Kiev , † 4. July 1998 in Moscow ) was a Russian-Soviet graphic artist.
Korezki had his first success in 1933 with the poster "Long live the international solidarity of the working people". During the Second World War he created a number of excellent posters, including the masterpiece "Soldier of the Red Army, save us" from 1942. In the more than 50 years of his work as a poster artist, Korezki created more than 600 posters, many of which have become internationally known.
