Viktor Semjonowitsch Klimaschin

Viktor Semjonowitsch Klimashin ( Russian Виктор Семёнович Климашин ; * 1912 ; † 1960 ) was a Soviet graphic artist.

At the beginning of the 1930s he published his first work on the advertising of subscribers for literature products. After that he was an author and graphic designer of cinema posters. He created political posters during World War II. His poster “We defend Moscow!”, Which he designed in 1941 together with Nikolai Zhukov , became famous. After the war he also worked in commercial advertising.
