William of Tudela (Guillaume de Tudèle; Guilhem de Tudèla) was a southern French poet born in Spain who was active from 1210 to 1213.

He began to write the Chronicle Canso de la Crozada on the Albigensian Crusade, rhymed in Alexandrians in Provencal language , which an anonymous author then continued. The work is an important source for the history of the Inquisition in the Middle Ages.
